On Friday (4/7) from 5:30-7:30pm you'll have the opportunity to screenprint your very own Nick Van Berkum original.

We may be a little biased, but we think this is pretty rad and will be a game changer for our local wanderers. 

Earlier this year, a client (and someone I would dare call a friend), Brett Peterson, connected us with David, the owner of New American Brewing Company. After an initial meeting and confirming those responsible for the killer packaging and website re-design,  we also connected with the fine women behind 818 Design.

Last week we packed up the shop (into my Toyota 4Runner) and made the long trek out to Ankeny.

It's a goal of ours to always keep advancing in ways we can make printing more of a mobile process. Taking a screen on a plane isn't a new concept to everyone - but it was for us.

To cap of the end of the fall season, we had Elena's Softball team over for a grill out and print-your-own-shirt party.

Last weekend we celebrated one of our own entering a new age bracket. Ashleigh hit 30 and what better way to celebrate? Throw a print-your-own-shirt-party.

There are certain people that pass through our lives and leave a lasting impression. 

Livin' in the middle gets a bad rep. And I'm not just talking about the Midwest. 

There is nothing cooler than taking an idea, navigating it through the design process and then lifting up the screen to see it brought to life.

It seemed like a pipe dream for so long I didn’t think it would ever happen. But it did. It happened — because we committed to making it happen.

I needed to lose, so that I could learn and win again later.

I choose 1-5 things I want to work on in the coming year. Work out more, start a blog, do more freelance work, don't drink beer... or at least not as much. You name it, I tried it - and failed at most of it.

Collaboration doesn't just make you better at your profession. It develops you into a person of impact. 

I felt bitter, helpless, stuck and I didn't know who I was anymore. I was still working at my dream job but I felt lost and my goals completely unattainable. I felt hopeless.

Fortunately, something clicked and I realized unless I decided to do something about it, this was it.

Change is a form of loss, and with loss you have to grieve it

That's when I realized I hadn't allowed myself to grieve the loss that came with my decision. And when I did — it was so freeing.
