We recently collaborated with our friends Preservation (a vintage modern shop based in Des Moines, IA), to create limited edition tees in response to family separations that occurred at our borders.

I choose 1-5 things I want to work on in the coming year. Work out more, start a blog, do more freelance work, don't drink beer... or at least not as much. You name it, I tried it - and failed at most of it.

Change is a form of loss, and with loss you have to grieve it

That's when I realized I hadn't allowed myself to grieve the loss that came with my decision. And when I did — it was so freeing.
