We’ve been fans of The Water Ride and The Move Project for quite some time now. We were first introduced to the organization and event through our friend Emily Steele back in 2015. To date, they've raised over $32,000 for Tsipasi, a community in Ghana, by people getting on their bicycles in the Des Moines & Indianola area. Through the organization’s efforts and the willingness of people to participate and support The Water Ride, the people of Tsipasi are experiencing a better quality of life.

When they reached out to us about printing up tees for this year’s ride we were stoked.

We consider ourselves fortunate when an opportunity arises to work with people whose values and missions are centered around serving and helping others. The work this crew does has a huge impact on the well being and future of others. That’s incredible, inspiring and so important.

And then we heard that our friends over at 818 Design worked with them on this year’s design and we had an “oh snap” moment. Seeing that file roll through our inbox we could have entered about 20 drool emojis, but decided to hold back in an attempt to maintain our professionalism.

The end product is our tried-and-true soft-hand inks printed on sustainable Allmade t-shirts making this shirt carry a heavy load of impact on communities and the environment.

And there is still time to support the mission.

Join us this Saturday (8/24) at Confluence Brewing Co. for this year’s Water Ride.

We’ll be set-up for on-site printing with a single-color design of the logo shown above along with great beer, good people, and an opportunity to help the movement go even further. For more information on The Water Ride click here.
